Additional Info

This VHP proto was based on the VHP16 frameset. They now offer a lower shock mount and Mx wheel option for riders wanted the long-travel version. Due to clearance issues on this frame, the production model will have some tubing placement adjusted.

The Switchgrade saddle tilt on the dropper post is a stand out part. Getting to the top of the climb and tilting the seat back and down gives you the DH clearance you want on a bike like this.

FSA stem is a thing of beauty and comes with a 5mm spacer (not installed)

Head angle is approx 62 degrees, which I plan to make 63 at some point.

For more front end traction I will drop the headset spacers and add a 40mm rise bar to get the same bar height with more weight on the front-effectively longer stem.

I'm on the flats for life program since these photos were taken, so Chromag Daggas do the trick.

The Ohlin's fork is excellent, but needs faster rebound.

STFU chain guide-only one fit from my last bike, but keeps it silent

Sorry I don't know what it weighs, but it's reasonable. The idler drags a little uphill, but not much.
