I've built this bike to cover a few disciplines of mountain biking. I wanted something that could be jumped, as well as a bike that would comfortably handle any kind of chunk that was thrown at it, while keeping the ability to climb as least restricted as possible. The performance elite 38 seemed like a natural fit as I wanted to keep as much of the bike black as I could, so the gold factory stations wouldn't fit the aesthetic I had wanted, and would stick out like a sore thumb. This is also why I had changed the decal kit to stealth, but the factory decal kit was all that was available in this colorway which was fine by me. Taking this bike to the park for it's first ride really opened my eyes to what Forbidden has accomplished with being the pioneers of successfully adding an idler pulley to a trail/ enduro style bike. It chewed up every piece of trail I threw at it, and constantly came back for more.
