E-Bikes are super popular these days, I've been a Shimano athlete for a decade and they make some of the best motors in the business. I met up with my good friend Aaron Chase so he could show me what these bikes are all about! The answer: YES they're fun, but I still love my pedal bikes!

watching chase ride that bike makes me think it was just too heavy, he could barely move it around the trail, looks like he is just plowing over everything and we all know that is not how he rides.

Lots of trails up there. Keep your eyes peeled for the PB article that drops tomorrow.

Ebikes ain’t legal up there though. Pretty disappointed that these guys didn’t figure that out before they filmed and shared this on a major media outlet.
Super lame.

That was my bad, I was the out of towner and I should have. I thought we were just gonna ride slabs and stuff which aren't trails for any kind of bike but the last trail was a bike only trail.

Chase is also an out of towner but apparently he doesn’t GAF. You can’t get to the top of WH on an ebike without poaching. Poaching is one thing, posting it to the web a step beyond.

@radair haven't we learned that all our old heroes are just like all the old bands. Selling out to get paid and ditching morals...all while taking on the mentality of "Oh, sorry. My bad." Name one pro getting product or bikes who is posting their ebike stuff or poached trails that takes the video down when they realize it's illegal.
The answer is always zero. Everyone knows that if you're going riding, you confirm if it's legal to ride on an ebike by simply asking or buying a map.
But why buy a map or ask when there's money to be made in clicks. Lenosky isn't sorry. He's getting clicks.

Sorry Jeff, but it's true. Had tons of respect for you, but this is who you are now.

There are amazing shuttle DH runs across the street on the Hurricane Mt/Cranmore side. Check trailforks. Rode them 2 weekends ago for the first time. i'll be going back soon for sure.
