650 slow at Ft Bill, kick it to the curb, use it when the circus goes back to Mt Stromlo or Sea Otter, not real DH courses! Alll for progress, though would like to see stds applied like Moto GP, MotoX, BMX, F1, etc, bikes go through scrutineering 26" wheels only! No issue with 9ers for XC, 650b fro trail riders who need confidence and lack basic skills, but racing is racing, man and machine not who has the biggest or smallest wanger! Over compensation doesn't make up for what nature didn't provide people!

It seems to me that the people waiving their wangers the most are the lets keep it 26 I don't need no big wheels guys. Don't get me wrong, I'm not yet a 29'er or 27.5'er fan yet, but at least I have an open mind. I'm more worried about bending rims than I am about what size they are.
