Before we hit the trails, Steve Blick, Brian Lopes, and Anneke Beerten spent a moment recalling fond memories of Burry Stander. The world lost a true champ just a few days ago when Burry, a two-time XC Olympian from South Africa, was killed while training when he was hit by a taxi. Brian Lopes wore a jersey from when the two were on the same team. Ride in peace.
