General Info
shout out to Andrextr for providing suspension kinematics analysis for this frame, which can be found in the photos.
Bandit is one of the most progressive frames on the market , it rides lower in the travel, thus making it slacker and extending wheelbase on the trail, compared to it's on-paper stats, satisfying the current trends quite well. With decent anti-squat it pedals quite well too, which I could confirm by executing 800m climbs or 125km rides.
Front coil and back ensures smooooooth ride. Particularly the Vorsprung conversion kit is amazing, adjustable, maintenance-free"" and offers huge range of coils to find the correct stiffness - game changer.
geometry: L-sized frame for my 177cm, reach 455mm, HT angle 66, ST angle 74, rear travel 160mm, BB drop 5mm, 1205mm wheelbase.
frame: 3.59kg , matt colors RAL: 6025(fern green), 8023(orange brown), 1011 (brown beige).
backstory: RB (race bike) is a company based in Czech Republic(central-east EU) where the frames are hand welded, I doubt it is known outside of the republic, but here it carries a slightly iconic status.
The colors of the frame were chosen to remind of nature, while the rest of the bike being rather stealthy. However the color choice being based solely on an online catalog, they turned out to be brighter in reality. I am happy with the outcome anyway. For an exact idea check out RAL colors sample catalogue.
