Wheels are chosen for low unsprung weight and optimum stiffness for the front/rear wheels to maximise grip. Especially on the relatively fast trails we have. Also the reduced volume gives the tyre a more progressive spring rate which helps the suspension respond smoothly. Will have a second set of wide carbon rims for pure technical/low grip riding
