Can you describe the process of removing the paint? I am thinking about doing the same to my Fritzz. Also, don't you have to apply a coating after removing the paint, to protect against corrosion?

I used zip strip paint remover. I’d suggest sanding the paint down as much as comfortable before applying it though. Will make the process a lot faster. Then I sanded lightly to get the finish smooth and even, and finished with scotchbrite in one direction for the brushed look. I didn’t seal and let it oxidize to get a rougher look, aluminum won’t really corrode. You can clearcoat it otherwise to keep it clean and shiny

Wire wheel on a dremel wasn’t too bad. Gt has the pretty smooth flat welds though also, which definitely helped

Even nicer than before. Been thinking of doing the same to my frame, but the paint strippers available in the UK are useless. What did you use?

I used zip-strip, was pretty brutal. I'd recommend sanding the paint down as thin as possible before using the stripper, or getting it media blasted by a good paint shop. I sanded the aluminum lightly with 120 then 220 and finished with the scotch brite once I had the paint off.

Lovely looking bike.
Did you have any issues setting up the MRP chain device with the SixC cranks? I have the old SixC cranks (with integrated spider) and have only been able to use an old E13 LG1+ chain device on my Fury........anything and the backplate rubs the frame or the cranks have to be offset to one side.
Need to get new cranks and chain device, so if yours fits well, this would be an option.

I got it pretty dialed. I had to run a 1mm extra spacer behind the guide to clear the frame, then I just used a couple 1mm thick plastic 30mm spacers between the drive arm and he BB. Run flawless all season and is so minimal that the spacing isn't a big deal. Highly recommend the MRP though

Thanks man, appreciate that! It's vinyl wrapped. I masked and spray painted anywhere I couldn't reasonably wrap, was the super bright yellow before.
