Just curious, can you fit the 2.4 front tyre in the back? if so how much clearance is there? Cheers - killer build btw!

Thanks. Im still loving it but may go 140 on the front in the future.
I haven't tried a 2.4. But to be honest on the 30mm ID rim they look like the same size? So I just measured them with calipers and the 2.4 is 1/16" wider (at the casting not the tread, at the tread they are the same?) and 1/16 taller. Plenty of room on the width for clearance but only about a 1/8 on the height with the 2.25 so it may be an issue there? The vigilante is a bit smaller and I have seen one on the rear before (no personal experience) but the 2.25 wouldn't fit on my 2015 Smuggler. the 2016's have a bit more room. So thats why I stuck with the 2.25 and its awesome. About the same size as an Ardent 2.4

cheers for measuring and explaining - appreciated. Pretty sure ill stick with the smuggler then! if it can fit anything ardent 2.4 ish size then thats big enough. I was looking to do a similar build, cant decide on 130 or 140, leaning towards 140 with some offset shock bushings to lower the BB a tad and even more slackness!

A little slacker would be nice but its amazing how it rides. I do smack pedals every blue moon on rutted climbs but worth the low bb. Let me know how the spacers work out. Go 140 if your going to run spacers.
