Lopes

This image of Brian Lopes was shot for a scrapped project in Malibu, CA in 2011. This image was shot using a single strobe; Profoto 7b with a magnum reflector which was hand held by an assistant. This turn might as well of been in a studio for us, as it was evenly dark (Past the bush in the top left) so we could craft the light to be what we wanted it to be. We shot this project using a 30 year old camera with a big, beautiful, modern sensor strapped to the back of it. Hasselblad 500 c/m with a Phase one P.45+ back. Here is a photo of the set up.
