@Uncle Cliffy, the Velocity P-35 would be the rim of choice at the moment.

Pacenti has a tubeless 31mm rim coming out ( and also a 28mm model). I've got a pair Stan's Flows I'll probably use for now.

I'm trying a 650 front on my DH bike. I'd try it on my trailbike, but I'm holding out for a carbon rim - now that I've ridden carbon wheels I just can't see myself riding anything else.

ehh, slightly larger side knobs and closer spacing for max surface area and i would ride... im sure it sheds mud well, but if your on a dry hardpacked trail theres no grip!
