After several months of impressive stage results on an aluminum rig, Rene is pumped to get this new carbon version of the Trek Slash. He's the first Pro rider to be on one publicly. On the 9.8 model he's racing at Winter Park, the chainstay is aluminum. Trek is also making a full carbon Slash 9.9. The 160mm bike has a tapered head tube, ABP Convert, BB95, internal derailleur & dropper post routing, ISCG 05 mount, magnesium EVO link, and Mino Link adjustable geometry. Details about production bikes are available here.
Watch for Rene to put up some impressive results on his new bike this weekend.
