The pits may not have been a hive of activity when I got to the bottom, but there sure was some prep going on amongst the top contenders' teams. Number one-ranked, team Santa Cruz Syndicate, pulled out all the stops with 'forking good supsension lubricant' being applied to frame and fork alike.
