The Andes Pacifico is four days of brutal MTB stage racing. The rugged, high-desert mountain terrain of the Andes is full of sharp rocks, loose moon dust and variety of razor sharp, thorny plants and cacti. Just surviving the race with your bike intact is an achievement. Winning the race is a borderline miracle.

Jerome Clementz took this prototype Cannondale Jekyll 27.5 bike to the top of the podium in addition to surviving the epic race. He's been riding the bike since the fall of 2013 and obviously has it figured out. The bike features SRAM XX1 drivetrain with 34-tooth chainring, RockShox Pike 27.5 fork, Fox DYAD rear shock, Mavic Crossmax Wheel Tire Enduro system, RockShox Reverb dropper post, Truvativ bars and stem and WTB saddle.
