ok lets all get along here, Im stoked that you guys are doing it big in CO, Im not sticking up for any mountain, put the local pride crap aside. Just thought it was funny that the payout was 7600, which is 100 bucks more then another big race and then the caption says " the biggest downhill payout in the United States" just sayin...

Are you telling me that you think someone "claimed that title" because of the editor's caption you read? Unless you hear that claim from someone from the mountain, I wouldn't suggest you assume anyone "claimed that title."

We think Diablo is sick, and a real asset to mountain biking in the US. All bike parks are. They are helping grow a sport that we ALL love.

I think you guys took it wrong. Im all for big money pay outs, its exactly what the sport needs. I just thought it was funny that it was 100 bucks more than another big race in the US and you claimed that title... I have no ties with a certain mountain anymore, in no way means am I butt hurt that my local mountain doesnt pay out the most (because at the end of the day Im not winning lol). Im sure next year you will have even more top pros at the event which is awesome, keep it up.

Hey D: Take of the local pride goggles and just accept that someone may be doing something worthwhile, even if it's not your home mountain. It's okay. Good events can happen at other places too.

We paid twelve deep in pro men. Any other pro men's race doing that? Doing our best to make US racing great and help the working pros out there. Why start the drama? Very unbecoming. And classless.
