Creating the perfect Enduro bike is an exercise in finding the perfect balance between geometry, pedal efficiency, rolling resistance, travel, weight, stiffness, durability, price, the list goes on. With Kona's all-new Process 134 DL, they set out to find that ideal balance. Kona uses oversized bearings for ultimate suspension performance; they keep the BB low, tweak the leverage rate curve so the bike stays high in the travel and pedals smoothly. They used the shortest possible chainstays for the 27.5-inch wheels to maintain a nimble, responsive ride and increased the front center with a slack 68-degree headtube angle, longer top tubes and a short (40mm) stem. The result is a stiff, precise handling ride that’s stable at high speeds. MSRP on the 134 DL is $3,599.
