Damn, this guy is the Leonardo da Vinci of bikes. He had the axle size, axle spacing, chain position, and wheel size correct way ahead of time. Either that or all bike companies are afraid to innovate and really just follow marketing trends

the last pic has a link to one of his blogs that documents his ride through patagonia! i've been talking to him via facebook and am working on more. he's riding weird and wild stuff like always.

Great to see a revisit of BCD's out front creations.
Before this design w/ the 29ers, Alex had the elevated drivetrain/gear box 26er.
Carbon frames, elevated drive trains, gear boxes and 29ers, Alex was out front on all these technologies.
Need more guys like him in the sport.
Is there anyone who makes their own race bikes anymore?
