The internet forum jockeys all have their own opinions of Aaron Gwin these days, and I'm sure they have already taken to their keyboards for better or worse after he topped qualifying results today, 7-seconds ahead of team mate Mitch Ropelato.

For the record, we're calling the timed runs at Angel Fire today *qualifying* because that is what the USAC results sheet said. No one was eliminated from competition, however, so it should be considered a seeding round. -gordo
