Darren digs Spank's 777 bars, which is why he requested that they be used as the base for his new signature edition 777 EVO bars. They have the same geometry numbers as the 777's, and are butted an incredible 7 times using all new tooling in their factory. Looking at the cutaway Spank had on display, the tapers are really impressive - they're very, very gradual to prevent stress risers. The bars feature a thicker-walled portion at the end that's made using a closely guarded process by Spanks designers.
