These things are great. I had my 5 and 7 y.o. take their first ride on one whilst demonstrating at Hunter Electric Vehicle Festival in Australia (www.hunterevfestival.net). The guys running the stand had a constant stream of kids wanting to give them a go. Variable power output that the parents can control to keep pace with the kids skills development. I'd still prefer to see mine starting on skills without power, but these make a good option to step up to..
