The first round of the Australian National MTB series took place this past weekend in the You Yangs State Park, just under and hour's drive from Australia's second largest city of Melbourne. Troy Brosnan took the Elite Men's win by just over half a second to Graeme Mudd and 1.5 seconds over Connor Fearon in 3rd. His time was 1:55.42. The track is neither the steepest or longest track in Australia, with many of the Elite riders opting to ride their trail bikes on the fast-but-pedally course. Troy was lucky enough to still have his 27.5-inch-wheeled Specialized Enduro Expert EVO from the South African and Cairns World Cups earlier in the year and took it to victory.
