They say the excitement of the adventure lies in the journey, not the destination but in this case Teva's team rider Sam Pilgrim had it all.
2012 was filled with travels, competitions and professional and personal tribulations and triumphs for Sam. Leading the FMB tour for most of the season, he traveled the globe in pursuit of his passion. Competing at various stops along the tour Sam had a dream to take his adventure beyond the expected and that’s where his pilgrimage to Japan began.
Immersing himself in Japanese culture, Sam shares his perspective on freeride MTB with the local Japanese MTB scene: Riding with the locals, experiencing cultural rituals, demonstrating and discussing endless potential for growth in the freeride MTB movement.
