Spēd Precision is a new wheel company based in Southern California. The brand is excited to introduce their lineup, which includes wheels designed for use at World Cup DH and Enduro World Series caliber events.
Spēd rims feature a low profile for fewer rock strikes and added vertical compliance. You'll also note nipple extrusions for added strength. Contrary to current trends, Spēd maintained the bead hook and ramps the tire bed to prevent burping during hard cornering.
The hubs use a six pawl driver for quick engagement and four sealed bearings. Both the spoke and nipple holes are drilled in a way that ensures perfect alignment for the strongest wheel possible.
The Maul Trail wheels use the same rim profile and hub design, but extract previous grams wherever possible, including a different carbon layup and the use of double butted spokes.
