Skyline Loop at White Cliffs in Kingman, AZ. We are in the process of designing a 5000+ft vert shuttle trail, starting at Hualapai mountain seen in the distance and ending in downtown Kingman. [Rant] Riding is somewhat of a creative outlet for me, I like doing these little pointless bump jumps and trail gaps even if doing so makes me slower, so I like 27.5" wheels with short chainstays, and the weight of the bike matters to me. It is annoying how people argue on the internet as if mountain biking is one-size fits all, which turned me off from engaging in forums these days. As someone who works as a part-timer for one of the premier trail building companies, I've had privilege of riding with pro riders and accomplished trail builders, and those guys are as humble as they come - I guess they are secure about their riding abilities so they don't feel the need to validate their preferences and purchase decisions by belittling others on the internet. Those internet experts would probably feel better about themselves if they hire good riding coaches with the money they keep dropping on the latest brakes/suspension/tires/whatever for marginal gains. Turn off the computer and go riding [/Rant]
