Rachel Atherton put nearly 10 seconds on the competition at World Champs in Lenzerheide today to take the rainbow stripes and the gold medal. She did it aboard the Trek Session she's been crushing with all season. The custom-painted blue and silver machine runs FOX suspension and a drivetrain that features Hope components and SRAM shifting. Hope brakes slow her down while Bontrager tires on Bontrager rims with Hope hubs keep her rolling. A Renthal cockpit, MRP chainguide and Crank Brothers pedals round out the build. Rachel sealed the World Champs win and won the World Cup overall title 2 weeks ago in Labresse. On Instagram, she said, "I was so, so nervous, puking all day! But decided that I didn’t mind if I crashed and hurt myself because I wanted this win and it was a risk I was willing to take!" Well done, Rachel!
