Enjoy 35 blazing DH photos from Sven Martin and Lee Trumpore
Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Air Downhill practice took place today. The course is steep and loose and not to be confused with the format of the Crankworx Whistler Air DH, which is all about groomed jumps down A-Line.
The L2A event is a true DH race that is primarily natural terrain. Gee Atherton tells the dirt what's up as he rails practice. Qualifying was supposed to happen today, rain shut down the DH track which had wooden features that were too slippery to race on.
Gee Atherton explains that the marshals here are doing their best, but there is some confusion on the course with flagging and the speeds the World Cup riders are carrying.
