Sully from Rotec had his prototype full-carbon Revo enduro bike in the pits. While there is a more refined production version of the frame out in the wild, we got to check out this highly adjustable bike.
The Revo uses the four-bar Lawwill suspension platform with full floating shock and floating brake setup. It is coil shock compatible The bike has been under development for the last 5 years using the Rotec 9 DH bike as the inspiration.
There are a few ways to configure the bike. It can use 27.5 or 29-inch wheels and has adjustable geometry with different shock bolt and axle mounting positions. Here the Revo is shown with 29-inch wheels and an 8.5 x 2.5-inch shock, giving it 165mm of rear travel. Using an 8.75 x 2.75-inch shock, travel is bumped up to 185mm, making it a "Revo X." Chainstay length on the 29 is 18-inches and the 27.5 runs 17.5-inch stays. Head angle is between 62.5 and 63-degrees depending on configuration.
The compartment in the downtube was experimental on this prototype and will not be part of the production bike. Also, the floating brake arm on this prototype is from a Rotec Nine DH bike. Production bikes will have a floating brake specific to the Revo.
