If the kids are looking for a fat bike experience, Trek's Farley 24 provides a nice platform for it. The bike is made for riders 50-63 inches tall (127-160cm), rides on 24x3.5-inch tires, and weighs 28-pounds complete. It has a shorter 160mm length crank with a single 32-tooth front chainring and a 12x36 rear cassette. Available August 2015.
