All-time riding legend, Hans Rey, let us take a look at his 2016 GT Force X Pro Carbon bike at his home in Laguna Beach, CA. Dig into the FOX, Shimano and Crank Brothers-equipped beauty.

- 2016 GT Force X Pro, 150mm rear travel, size medium
- FOX Float CTD rear shock
- FOX 36 fork with 160mm travel
- Shimano XTR 2x11 drivetrain
- Shimano XTR cranks, 175mm length, 26t and 36t chainrings
- Shimano XTR rear derailleur
- Shimano XTR front derailleur
- Shimano XTR front and rear shifters
- Shimano XTR brakes and levers with 180mm ICE-tech rotors
- Crank Brothers Iodine 2 50mm Stem
- Crank Brothers Iodine 11 carbon bar at 780mm
- SQLab 711 grips
- SQLab 611 Active TiTube saddle. Offered in variety of widths. Hans likes the long nose for climbs.
- Crank Brothers Kronolog seat post
- Crank Brothers Cobalt 11 carbon wheel set. Custom built with blue spokes and nipples.
- Duro Matador Tires 2.2-inch width. Hans notes he will probably switch to 2.35-inch version for his daily riding.
- Crank Brothers 5050 flat pedals. Hans will run Mallets if he needs to clip in.

Setup notes
Hans runs brakes run moto style (rear brake on left) and he makes sure to run his brake levers as inside as possible, so his finger is using the outside of the lever as much as possible to get the most leverage. Hans uses CTD modes of the rear shock fairly often. If the ride gets aggressive, he'll leave it in Trail mode rather than Descend.
