After 6 hours of climbing we arrived here. It wasn´t all downhill from here but all the climbs were short. The surface was incredible, like you see in the old school freeride films with the riders surfing down. You could really drift the bike in the corners and the ground initially gave and then gripped as you dug yourself a berm. Not enough people come up this high to leave a defined track so it was just wide open mountain top for the first 1000m. The next 1000m was all singletrack winding through the forests and rocks. What a great day out. One of the hardest single days I´ve ever done on a bike but maybe one of the more memorable.
