3K would be a buttload of cash, but if it's as buttery smooth and maintenance free as a Dorado but lighter and stiffer, you'd have to consider it.

So what I'm basically saying is that if unicorns are real, I'd buy one for 3 grand!

and im sorry, but i can NOT see, for the life of me, the added value of the ohlins over some 40's or boxxer for ~$1k-2k. UNLESS i put them on my bike and they win me world cups while i just sit there

You guys have a. made up a price, b. decided it's not worth the price you just made up. And all of this without actually knowing what its made of or how it rides. Darwin just called, all he said was "whatevs".

While I agree the price was "made up" its not entirely unfathomable. The argument was a simple generalization, but obviously it is too complex for your tiny brain to comprehend...
