Hard to pronounce, incredible to ride. Welcome to the jungle of Whakarewarewa. Crankworx Rotorua has begun and EWS practice begins shortly. -Sven Martin
Blenki, gloves off and ready to rumble. DH practice was wild already. @maddogboris
Chris Kovarik has made the trip across the Tasman Strait and it's business as usual...obliterating KORNers. -Sven Martin
Sam Hill, loose as always in an unfamiliar yellow Mavic kit. We're all learning the new kits and bikes this week. -Sven Martin
Look again. This is Sam Hill and we know this because he is riding inside of any other existing tire mark. Shaving time is how he does it. -Sven Martin

Welcome to New Zealand. Haka intensity at the incredible welcome ceremony. -Steel City Media
EWS racer briefing. Some changes are due for tracks after some solid rain the last few days. Some of the tracks are new and clay-based and may not be ridable on race day. Stay tuned and let's hope there aren't too many changes. #niceshirtparkin -Sven Martin
The EWS tracks in Whakarewarewa look nothing like this right now. Dry dusty summer conditions of a few days ago (pictured) are long gone and this is a big, rutted mud bog now. Mixed weather expected over the next few days. Keep your fingers crossed. Stage 3. -Sven Martin
2006 World Champs anyone? #aimforthewater -Sven Martin
Finn Iles took a spill during team testing camp in Queenstown and is out with a possible broken thumb. No whips for Finn this stop of CWX. Bummer. -Sven Martin

Brook MacDonald, laser-focus while being sniped from the bush. @maddogboris
#freebath for all the hippie EWS racers. -Sven Martin
Loic, Loris and Lapierre lackadaisically lucubrating lines. @maddogboris
Wyn Masters, blurring the lines between at-home ripping and full-speed racing. @maddogboris
We're pretty sure this tastes just like the peanut butter in a Reese's cup. @maddogboris
The pond is looking a little drier this year. #huckforyourlife @maddogboris
Blenki, can't stop, won't stop. -Sven Martin
An awesome goose-bump-tingling Haka tonight at the welcome ceremony. -Sven Martin
Loic is already half Kiwi after spending so much time here and hanging with old team mates and friends. Meat Pies and jandals. -Sven Martin
Cam McCaul is announcing this week, not competing. His audio was too good not to include even though we didn't have a photo yet, so we poached one of his Instagram posts. Classic Cam.
Freeracer, Tyler McCaul getting drifty as R-Dog leads him out. -Sven Martin
Silverbacks allowed on the good side of the glass. Visiting the Kiwi Breeding and Research Center at Rainbow Springs adjacent to Skyline. Kiwi birds are hatched and then returned to the wild when they are big enough to fend for themselves increasing their chance of survival. Similar to how Eddie and Wyn were raised. So neat to visit new places and experience new things like this. -Sven Martin
Wyntastic at the Dodzy Memorial slalom. #alltimetrails @maddogboris

Brook boosting bodaciously. -Steel City Media
Since George Brannigan's edit dropped, everyone (including himself) is trying to be just as gnarly. #catch22 -Sven Martin
Gee Atherton, instantly on the gas. -Sven Martin
At least Greg Minnaar's kit doesn't upset the Crankworx organizers like it did the UCI's. Looks good to us. -Sven Martin
The EWS stages aren't all gnarly all the time. The liaisons provide a break. -Sven Martin
Seriously, Blenki won't stop. -Sven Martin
We're stoked to have racing so early in this epic place. Stay tuned for more face-melting action from Crankworx Rotorua. -Sven Martin
