Danny Hart did some serious back-to-back comparative testing in Schladming, and found just a 0.5 second average advantage in favor of the 29er. But since he actually feels better on the 27.5, the team decided that such a small measured advantage is not worth the trade off, especially on a track as technical as Andorra. There is a new 29er rear triangle in the works however, so the team haven't closed any doors yet.
