I contacted Canyon Bikes, and he answered :
There will be a model in 180mm that will be released very soon (on the picture sent, it's still a prototype), so it's worth the wait until it's released! We have no more information on this new range (release date, components, prices etc ...).
I'd guess it's a new 170 or 180mm bike, that fork looks long. The strive is still pretty modern in sizing but it's a little steep...

My strive cf with fox 170 and a tiny 1mm Offset bushing is exactly 65 of HA. Perfect geometry to me.
Fairclough wearing fox knee pads in his Instagram story, anyone know anything about this?
Pics or it didn't happen (lol, don't do it)...But to calm the nerves, we (TLD) have a long term contract with Brendog, so he is a TLD guy next year, head to toe.
Sometimes we send out competitors products to our riders, to test out to give us a competitive analysis-this should obviously never be seen, but, it does happen.
Am I the only one pissed that Levy used the ”Racing Rumours” topic as ”inspiration” for his article today (no, I will not link it) and killed a good part of the mystery? I know there is no exclusivity on this, but to me Racing Rumours have always been a Vital thing, where some nerdy MTB fans speculate on info what could or could not be in and industry guys chip in or fuel the fire. Now we have the f**king Pink Enlightenment Movement who needs a piece of this pie, goddamnit!
lighten up man.
It is not the first time that the folks over at Pinkbike have made such an article if i remember correctly, nor are they the only mag that have made such articles presently or in the past. Vital does not own the "between seasons rumors debate", a topic that has been widely discussed on other forums as well, such as ridemonkey. If anything, it is odd that vital did not themselves make a "so this is what we know after talking with some insiders after months of speculation in our thread " article, but oh well. Happy trails

Agreed. I don't recall anything on the article that wasn't already mentioned here.
Besides, vital's Racing Rumors thread has always had far more information than any other english-language mtb sites (I do hear the French and German sites have a lot of stuff too).
Anyone have any more info about that new Canyon bike/return of the Canyon Torque?
Think that will be a 2019 bike or available for next season?
According to some "insiders" it is confirmed that the new torque will be a 180mm full carbon "freeride" (if it still mean something) bike and it will be revealed very soon (probably before January).
Not sure if this is allowed, please delete if not.

Curtis Keene retiring leaving a potential spot on the Specialized EWS team?
One can only imagine the standard of riding will only increase with the Sam putting on his coach's hat.
