He's already won WC races so his goal is the overall and worlds.
The overall is gone and realistically worlds would be the first race back.
He is so young it's not worth risking a career long injury at this point.
I'd be taking the year off from competition. Do some riding trips and videos to keep the sponsors happy, get 100% recovered and then smash the field next year.

Gone are the days when a knee ligament injury was almost a death sentence to an athlete's career. However, quite a few pros still could never get back to 100% of their athleticism and explosiveness. I hope Jackson takes his time and gets the best possible medical and rehab help available.

If you watched the first episode of the Syndicate TV series last week then you probably saw that poor Jackson Goldstone just had knee surgery and looks to be focused on recovery not racing this year.

Should we take credit for this decision?

I think we, the Vital horde, should do just that.

According to my calculations, Bruni will sit out this year too then.

He'll sit out when we say he sits out...and no sooner.

I always wanted a set of those Nukeproof carbon fiber hubs.

I wonder how many people know where the Mega brand name comes from... Also if people know what preceded CRC Nukeproof, which frames they ran.

While not the OG hubs, I remember lusting after the original Mega (44 mm straight headtube baby!) and the CRC factory colorway full face helmet before Nukeproof was a thing. Fast forward 10 years and I'm hlfull face helmet hater #1 😂

Their rear hubs where the shell would separate after a few years were even better! Laughing

Cool company when they were in the US making the lightest stuff out there.

Not the same company though?

It's an Aussie distributor for Stark mx bikes, so very unlikely

I really want to make a 15mm non disc front hub for my DJ like this (I am old enough to remember the original). Copy Hope hub dims so I can use their end caps/spacer and find some carbon tube for the centre section. Just need to draw the flange up and get a quote from PCBway for 2 (they do cnc too).

It's possible someone local will cost you the same as PCBway for 2 pcs... 2 pcs can probably made by hand, no need for a cnc. But this is not related to this topic.

true. They didn't have CNC "cheater lathes" back then.

A local guy could whip those out

well maybe NASA did.

Has oli Davis joined the syndicate? Potentially to take goldstones spot as he recovers?

Makes sense. Oli was on the Steel City Media / Union Team the last 3 years which was sponsored by Santa Cruz so there would be a strong relationship with Santa Cruz and the Syndicate.

Syndicate has always had at least 3 elite men .  Believe Ollie is replacing Greg.

Didn’t he just sign with Commencal 2 months ago? Maybe more will be explained in the Syndicate vid coming out on Friday

Like BGoldstone said Oli signed with Commencal Schwalbe earlier this year. I think its more a replacement for Jackson to give the best chance that the team can field riders incase of injuries etc.

Huge opportunity for Oli.

Also, Evan Wall to Haro, that is not satire. 100% legit.

Jack Moir to Huffy COULD happen!
