Rob Warner and Olly Wilkins Attempt 500 miles - The GR5 Parts 1 and 2 5

Rob Warner and Olly Wilkins tackle the GR5 It's late summer and Rob Warner has finished all of his commentating commitments. The mountain biking world is still coming to terms with the fact that was the last time they'd ever hear him commentate a World Cup but Rob has turned his attention to a much more real and imminent topic. Tackling the GR5 route from Lake Geneva to Nice. Over 500 off-road miles of mountains and singletrack…

As Rob and Olly stand on the shores of Lake Geneva they are beginning to wonder what they have signed themselves up for. It’s grey and wet with an unseasonable cold snap descending on the region, throwing the intrepid adventurers a little off-kilter before they even leave the car park.

As you can imagine they did run into some peril along the way. Did they make it to Nice? Find out in part 2 below
