Totally, a guy 6'3" who never quite has a bike big enough for him getting asked if a full 29 or mullet set up is "faster". 
Hilarious. 

..and then wonder why a 140lb child is consistently on podium for the mens elite WC DH. The smaller and more centralized your mass--the faster you ride (less friction while cornering/deflecting off obstacles) The corners determine the race, everyone can go fast in the fast parts.
   Mullet is a function of; 
   1) Rider preference
   2) Rider height (5'9"+ is where you begin to 'potentially' benefit from a full 29" DH setup, if my research is correct) 

Glad to see the "Sheffield Steel" still stoked to let us in on his vibe.
