A long time ago, they had the right idea with the Big Hit 24"rear wheel and 26" front; trail bikes are just modern freeride bikes, anyway. It's a great time to be a mountain biker!

Just saw the newly built Tyrol section the other day. Its amazing! Definitely big fan of mullet direction. Ive been on that route running 27.5 wheels but a wider front rim and bigger/taller tire for years. Currently running a Magic Mary 27.5 x 2.6 front with 37mm width front rim, and a 27.5 x 2.35 Hans Dampf rear on a 30mm rim on my Nomad.
