Oakridge Singletrack - Fast and Fun! (POV)
Here is a little look at riding Larison Rock Trail in Oakridge, Oregon.
The ride begins with a mellow 5-mile climb up Larison Rock Rd (2102). As you approach the end of the climb, which seems to take forever by the time you reach this point, you will see an entrance for the trail on your right. Now that you have reached the trail head, you can take a deep breath and smile knowing that you get to descend some 4 miles through the lush Oakridge forest. By the time you finish, you will forget you ever climbed Larison Rock Road making the descent highly worth it!
Side note: When you reach the trail head, you can choose to go right and climb a little further to reach an awesome viewpoint (highly recommended if it is your first time).
