Sick video actually. The closing message feels bit cocky though. Buddy's clearly a confident rider, but I guarantee you there's plenty of people held back by their bikes. Often it may be a matter of setup, often it's just a bad geometry. But just because a good rider can ride an outdated bike well doesn't mean that a beginner can progress as good on a bad bike as he could on a good well fitting bike. It doesn't need to be the newest and fanciest, but to say the bike doesn't matter is not quite accurate.

dude, I feel like this whole video, from the shop, the forks in the barn, the burner QR in the Boxxer, too big rear shock, and then going out schlackin' the trails anyway, was a day in the life in 2005.  this video really took me back
