12-inches of Travel with 24-inch Wheels in Moab - Canfield and Krispy, 2001 12
The good old days of freeriding at Bartlett's Wash in Moab, Utah with Lance Canfield, Kris Baughman and Tydon Oler.
Some notes and highlights
- Lance on the "Big Fat Fatty Fat" (i think that's what it was called) with 12-inches of travel. 26-inch front wheel, 24-inch rear.
- Krispy on a Karpiel Armageddon, 11-inches of travel, 24-inch wheels front and rear.
- Tydon on a Santa Cruz Super 8 with 24-inch rear wheel.
- Way, way scarier than it may appear. If you've been there, you know.
- Krispy crank flips in that first clip.
- Sony VX1000 before I got a Death Lens (shoddy fisheye work in this...it may have been my 3rd video).
- Sorry for the quality, this from an 8meg "windows ASF" file, which was huge in 2001 haha.
- I didn't understand music rights in 2001.
- I still love Veruca Salt...make fun all you want.
Good times!
