Asa Vermette is a young, U.S. downhill mountain bike racer ready to make waves at the World Cup level in 2024. He's riding for Neko Mulally's Frameworks and is pulling results against the pros at races like Crankworx, Downhill Southeast  and the U.S. Open.

Seeing him come by on track at DHSE he hauls mail like a man.  Then he pulls the helmet off & there's just a happy kid underneath.

Ripper for sure.  He's been the USA junior DH national champ for the last two years, and would have been 6th in pro men last year.

And so mellow. Not cocky or loud or obnoxious like so many other fast kids his age tend to be.

Neko is the perfect mentor for him with a similar personality. Asa is setup for success, it will be great to see him on the WC scene.

I've ridden with him a few times here in Moab and he's one of the most amazing bike handlers I have ever seen! Last year at 15 he was doing lines that have never been done and climbs tech faster and better than I thought possible. He's super mellow and calm, just stoked to be riding. His future looks bright.
