It looks to me like he slipped a pedal on the lip. I'm just glad that I didn't have to watch that knee buckle.

Want to to know the back story to this one- there's a few clips of this guy's jump attempt on the interweb. Given how it unfolded for him you'd be forgiven for thinking everything about this looks like some random who thought he'd roll on course & try to make a name for himself.
