Just a quick tip: black is NOT a good colour for taping the track... just my 2 cents.

Thoughts: track looks like it will hard to go fast on. Regardless of your opinion on the nature of the track, or if its something you'd want to personally ride, as a racetrack you want something that is difficult to go fast on. This opens up the potential for someone to risk it all for a big result = great racing. I think racing needs more hucking and full-pull gaps. I'm thinking we will probably see high pivot bikes do well here. Can't wait for Sunday Sunday Sunday!

love me some vital raw. however i'd like to propose a new rule...all vital raw edits going forward shall be a run time not less than 5 minutes. all in favor click 'thumbs up'.

i think technically yes, but they weren't enforced too hard. not sure if anyone noticed, but there were rainbow stripes on the sides of our graphics. was told those stripes had to be removed (hence the ugly blue "WORLD CUP" thing i've done instead now), UCI trademark infringment. super aggro all of a sudden. ben cathro had to re-cut his 10min vlog from yesterday down to 3 minutes. such a shame. it had like 48 seconds of actual riding in it from claudio and finn's POV run. i see wyn tv is 6 mins, so who knows. as long as RAW can run, that's all i care about but it could have been like 5 mins long or more today.

the bureaucracy is getting outrageous. You can have 3 minutes of footage and 5 minutes of red bull intros and logos and dont show other sponsors, and they all have to be red bull athletes, and drinking red bull and dont mention the ews or crankworx and dont show racing footage, or qualis and Rob warner has to be sober and blah blah blah.
Set down RB and let us have RAW

Unfortunate. But, in the hour since I last commented I've enjoyed catching up on the interviews, slideshows, and analyzed this raw about 7 times. Everybody keep crushing it!

alright, NEW update about all the rules. there was confusion in communication. lawlor (who films RAW for us with a special accreditation) is not limited to time lengths. SICK. other "standard" credentialed photo/video people are limited to 3 mins per day. good news for Fort William and future (today's RAW is already in and will be posted after quali results). everyone is trying to protect their product. no hard feelings on our end. we just want to see epic DH racing.
