I know GoPro will make this seem tamer than it actually is, so I'm not stating but asking: This track doesn't seem that rough, would an enduro bike not be faster here considering the few uphills and pedalling sections?

With bikes being so capable nowadays the answer is always going to be yes unless youre riding stuff like Rampage.

The course is much rougher than it looks on GoPro. Given the choice, I’d choose a DH bike. Enduro bikes do keep getting better and more capable but what’s rarely mentioned is that modern DH bikes keep getting better too. They are lighter, pedal better and are more responsive than the DH bikes of the past.

Raced it last year, unless you had like a 170mm or so travel enduro I'd still say dh. The course has a couple slow spots but it's all super chunky, and the high speed bits are pretty gnarly. Lots of loose rock as well.
