BIKE ABUSE! Vital RAW, 2019 World Cup Downhill, Val di Sole Day 2
Vital RAW
Before the rain came in at the 2019 Val di Sole, Italy, UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill today, riders experienced good course conditions in the morning before qualifying. Val di Sole is often considered the most brutal course on the circuit with unrelenting steeps, giant rocks, tricky roots and massive, bike-swallowing holes from top to bottom. Later in the day, during qualifying for the Elite Men's class, the skies opened up as thunder, lightning and heavy rains made the course nearly unrideable for some.
