Cascade Components Jekyll MX Link (2021 to current)

In Collaboration with Cannondale we bring you the MX link for the 2021 to current Jekyll. This link is designed to maintain reach, head angle, and BB height when installing a 27.5” rear wheel. In order to do so, the chainstays and wheelbase become 5mm shorter. Keep in mind that, because the axle path is substantially rearward, the bike behaves more similarly to having 3mm shorter chainstays. See axle path below for reference.

This link does alter kinematics as well, but is more intended as a geometry correction. Travel increases by 9mm and there's a 4% increase in progression. Combined with less rollover from the smaller rear wheel, we believe this offers a similar feel over rough terrain to the 29" rear end. If you are subjecting your bike to large impacts the approximate 5% increase in bottom out resistance could be of use to you though.
