The Charge Spoon saddle checks off all the main points for me, comfortable, lightweight, quality construction, and not over-priced. I have been riding my Spoon saddle for two full years and have been very happy with my choice. The Spoon saddle isn't anything special in its tech, but in its on trail use, it's great!
The Spoon saddle has a very nice profile, not too small and not too big in the seat. The nose is long enough to slide onto for climbs, but not too long to cause any interference when pedaling. I have found the nose to be a little bit flexy when you really on it, but not too terrible. The seat area provides a good foundation and doesn't feel too big and also doesn't feel like you're balancing on it or hoving over it. Padding is minimal, but is enough to be comfortable and not give you a sore butt a mile in (but this is also with chamois shorts). The relief channel is there, but I am not sure how much of a difference it makes, but hey it's there so it should be doing something.
I've also been extremely impressed with the quality construction of the Spoon seat. In two years of riding this saddle has seen some miles and as you can guess, some great spills. After all this the saddle has remained creak free, the rails are straight and tight, and the synthetic leather outer has worn great! As you can see from the pictures there are no cuts, scratches or loose stitches. And all of this comes in at a price of less then $30! I have used saddles twice that much that have torn after one fall, gotten creaky after a few miles, and were just plain uncomfortable (WTB Wink, Wink).
Charge created a great saddle when they developed the Spoon seat and it goes to show you that quality design and construction doesn't have to come with a high price tag. I like this saddle so much that I have recommended it to many others and have purchased it for additional bikes. Not to mention, who doesn't love the look of a brown saddle even if it's not real leather.
I bought this to use on my gravel bike since I needed a comfy seat for long rides in the saddle. It was the perfect width and shape for me, felt very comfortable from the moment I sat in it. The price was great, since saddles at low price points seem to be pretty bulky with less than ideal materials. I don't think I'd use this saddle on the my trail bike though, since it's a little wide and the nose shape is not conducive to sitting at the nose and climbing like on a saddle with a flat wide nose. The color touches on the saddle matches my bike perfectly, subtle and classy.

I suffer a lot from numbness in the southern regions and this saddle is so good that i really really felt bad for not sticking with it, since it gave me numbness, has it has no depression for the perineal area and as it is more of a round shaped saddle.
However it is a dream of a saddle! Extremely well made, at a price that is total bargain, and the most confortable saddle i have ever tried! The round shape feels like a spoon, like someone was holding your butt with their bare hands. For someone that doesn't have such a weird anatomy as me, buy it and stick with it for the rest of your life!
