IMO hands down the best hub ever. There is a reason why king has been in business so long and that is the attention to quality along with detail. I have been able to ride multiple hubs over the yrs and these are what I have stuck with all along. The easy servicing of the hubs to the actual customer service so far has been great. I rebuild these on my own because my kids could figure it out. True they are never the fastest to jump on a trend but every king owner knows eventually it will come. Now that they have come out with the xd driver there is no better set up for me. I have hopes on my dh bike, ive rode dt swiss 240s, and a couple other brands but the engagement of king always draws me back to my original hubs from my very first build.

We all know the unique sound of kings but that sound is engagement. I really like how they hold up when I need them the most when its coming off a high speed out to climbing some rocky or rooty stuff and I need that instant engagement basically. You will notice you are climbing through stuff you didnt before because of lag time, pullout of corners that much faster, and having a hub that simply lasts. They do take a while to break in and with any high end hub you are going to pay a pretty penny unless you pick them up used. I would definitely recommend these
