First Look: VP Components VX Series Clipless Pedals 2

VP Components recently launched a new series of clipless pedals. Our favorites are the VX Adventure and VX Trail pedals, which mix a tried and true SPD interface with a decently sized platform that offers some additional support and stability. Internally, the majority of the VX pedals use a combo of double sealed cartridge bearings on the outboard side and LSL (Lightweight Self Lubing) bearings inboard.

There are a total of seven models in the VX lineup, including three "Race" versions that are lighter weight and one entry level pedal with ball bearings. Prices for the range will be anywhere from about $40 for the entry level model to $130 for the high end race sets.

We'll be testing a set over the coming months, so stay tuned for our review. Initial impressions are very positive.
